RHOA Star Porsha Williams Getting The Ax

The rumor has it the Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams will be getting the ax. I think Porsha is a very beautiful woman with a great heart, but let's be real here...the girl is B-O-R-I-N-G! And I'm not being funny, I felt for her when Cordell ended their relationship on twitter. Like, who does that? He wasn't man enough to tell her face to face; nope, he went straight to social and told the whole world that he's ending his marriage. That's a very personal issue that's done behind closed doors and with some respect for the relationship as well as to that individual.

My heart went out to her for the way she's being treated, along with the way she found out that her marriage, that she felt and thought was fine...is over and everybody know your personal matter cause the life that you created is gone. No one should have to be put on blast like that in front of the world. That would make any woman want to commit a serious crime and it's not crime of passion either. Being who Porsha is, she handle the situation just like any woman would...move back home with mama.

Now this is where I have an issue with miss Williams, You are not a child anymore an though it's nice, enduring that mama is cooking for you and pampering you like a princess, which all mothers do for our daughters. But let's get real, You got a divorce and as hard and heartbreaking that maybe, girl, you have no kids by this man and free to live your life to the fullest. Pull yourself from your bootstraps and get the hell up off your ass and get your own. Mama will always be there, you don't need to be treated like a princess, but a grown woman.
This may be the very reason to why the powers that be at Bravo are on the fence to keep or toss you. You are just that boring. Nothing that Porsha does makes a big impact for the show to keep her on. Maybe if she got into a feud with enemy Kenya Moore, I think we may have something to watch without it being painfully to watch. Cynthia is more interesting...hell, Phaedra and her messiness is worthy to the show. Maybe it's just isn't in her nature to be ratchet and messy, that's why we watch these reality shows for the nonsense and drama.

Porsha Williams has NOT been fired from  "Real Housewives of Atlanta" ... she just may be on life support.  She will stay on the show for the current season and be part of the reunion special. It's been reported that Bravo is not THAT into her, because she's on the fence for next season.  Producers haven't decided whether they want to keep her or give her the ax.

My guess is that they'll wait till the reunion is taped before making their final decision. Porsha -- if they give you the pink slip, smile and start anew. Your beautiful, become a model or continue to model and build yourself a empire. Take notes from NeNe & Kenya...they have their shit together and you may not like Kenya, but she knows how to keep the streets talking good or bad.

Celestial Tea

This is an awesome tea! I love green tea and when I can get my hands on white and green tea mixed it’s a done deal. With antioxidant that’s good for your body and health.Celestial Seasonings  tea is a very great brand and I would recommend this tea to those who are big tea drinkers like myself.
Breezy citrus sweetness reminiscent of old-fashioned lemonade, smooth blend of green tea and delicate Bai Mu Dan white tea- one of the rarest and youngest of teas.

Wet n Wild Fergie Ferg Fresh Eye Kit

Wet n Wild Fergie Ferg Fresh Eye Kit
Who doesn't love Fergie! The girl has some mad skills and she can rock some amazing makeup. No wonder Wet n Wild wanted her to represent their brand. Fergie has 3 eye kits out in drugstores,  I was fortunate to pick up one of these. I chose this kit because I liked the colors a little more than I like the other kits that were available.

Wet n Wild Fergie Ferg Fresh Eye Kit
On the inside you get a guide on how to get the look (on the left) and then on the right side sits product. Starting on the upper left side:

♥Shimmer Eye Pencil in Black
♥Liquid liner in Indigo Blue (picture below)
♥Small palette of 4 colors
♥Mega Length Mascara in Black

Wet n Wild Fergie Ferg Fresh Eye Kit
The colors in the palette are a mix between satin and shimmer finishes. The two colors up top are not as pigmented as the two shades on the bottom.

Here is the liquid liner in blue indigo. This is such a beauty blue for adding pop to any eye look.
Now onto SWATCHES you can definitely tell which colors are poppin and which ones are not. For the colors that are struggling I want to try to bring out their personalities with a white base. I will keep you posted in a future update.

Benefits Of Oatmeal For The Skin

Oatmeal Flakes
Oatmeal isn't just a breakfast food to help start your day, it's so much more than that. Did you know that the grainy little flakes perform deliciously mini miracles when applied to your skin? Oatmeal removes away dead cells, irritation, dryness and redness, leaving a soft, smooth, silky glow behind.
Oatmeal has long been a staple among the beauty & skin pros -- even the ancient ones. It's skin-soothing powers were known as early as 2000 BC, and to this day, the FDA cites it as effective for eczema and inflammation, including insect stings, rashes, and eczema. My family will be happy to hear and know this. That's why finely powdered ("colloidal") oatmeal is sifted into soothing body soaks, scrubs, bath bombs, moisturizers, and soaps. (Pulverizing the oats into powder makes it easier to disperse their healing goodness -- and in soaks and bombs it keeps them from collecting in the bottom of the tub. AWESOME!

Oatmeal Milk & Honey Bath Bomb

Four Reasons Why Your Skin Worships Oatmeal.

1. Fight Dryness: Oats contain polysaccharides, which become gelatinous in water and leave a fine protective film on the skin, preventing dull and dryness.
2. Moisturizing: Oats are full of healthy, lubricating fats.
3. Defense Building: The proteins in oatmeal help maintain the skin's natural barrier function, which ensures that the world outside the skin stays out, and what's inside the skin stays in.
4. Pore Cleansing: Oats are filled with natural cleansers (called saponins) that gently remove dirt and oil from the pores.

To reap all of these AMAZINGLY great benefits, start treating your skin to a colloidal oatmeal mask every week or two. (Heck, why not spoil yourself rotten) Here's a super simple recipe -- bet you already have these ingredients in your kitchen.

Deliciously Soothing Oatmeal Mask
2 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
2 tablespoons hot water
1/2 tablespoon honey
1. Put the oats into a clean herb or coffee grinder on the finest setting, and process into powder.
2. Pour into a small bowl and stir in hot water and honey. Let stand for 5 minutes.
3. Wash face with warm water. While skin is still damp, massage paste onto face, circling around eyes and mouth. Leave on for 10 minutes.
4. Remove with water and a washcloth. Apply your favorite moisturizer to seal in the moisture.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review
COLOR: Sweetheart = Bright Pink
Retail Price around $6.79

Clinique and Tarte both have their own version of this product for way more. So looks like Revlon is giving them a run for their money.

So here is the tea on this chubby pencil :) I adore these much better then the stains that are like a marker. These feel buttery, balmy and moisturizing on the lips. I could just sit here all day and apply it because it feels so good. Awesome color pay off.

Sweetheart is a Hot Bright Pink.

So it isn't so bad but I am more of an eye girl and not a Flamingo Pink Lip kind of girl. I'm  actually sort of liking it now. But it had enough brightness for me to say I am gonna pass (ONLY CAUSE THE COLOR WAS NOT MY FAVORITE AGAINST my skin tone

I can say it stained well. Also, stayed on my hand for a long time. It felt very nice on the lips. Now as far as the other colors I can not judge them yet maybe this stained so well due to the color and brightness. That is yet to be found out. I wasn't sure if I would like the other colors but I am going to find that out soon. I will share as I play with my new treasures. My skin tone is funny with certain colors like with some pinks, reds. So we will see. I did love the texture on the lips and the fact that if there was any scent it didn't bother me but I don't remember one. Some say there is a slight minty scent. I loathe drugstore scented stuff. I wish I could see all the offered colors and I am picky with colors but the concept if you can find a color that works for you GO FOR IT!!!
Hugs from me to you and sealed with a...KISS!

The Great Makeup DEBATES!

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLGUgxoZSzMzj1Y11PTyn0R8U10J3_BmcUSn-108Cnm4tLiZY0zbDiG1_jAYQID6vHneuAfAjFMSbGpq2karnSwM5Li35Hc6ll6w9NVL0zrwuhC3fT6IzM0VFcot9N-qsAWs7c1hxrH8Yq/s1600/Picture-54.png
Let me start by saying, first of all that the purpose of makeup is to enhance one's inner beauty. This not to say that makeup should make you look like someone you are not. If you have a feature you want to highlight like your lips then you could use makeup to play that feature up. Maybe its your eyes throw on a nice shadow that compliments your eye color, a liner to make your eyes pop and a great mascara and you are ready to go!!! Women wear makeup because it makes them feel good about themselves.

I've noticed much debate over these topics in the last few months...

Do men prefer women with or without makeup?

I personally think most men appreciate that extra attention. They love the fact that we took the time to prime ourselves. They like it subtle, sexy, sophisticated, natural, not overly made up. However they do appreciate our attention to the details...right down to the small ones. The most important thing is how you feel your makeup should be and it should enhance your natural beauty.
First you have to learn to  LOVE & APPRECIATE YOU. What is it do you love about yourself and draw from there. You shouldn't look like you  had a box of crayola explode all over your face. The goddess that's inside you should be staring back at you.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE dramatic makeup, but I know when to tone it down. At the end of the day...your natural beauty will always shine from within and you can always face that goddess.

It's Contradictory to have Natural Hair and wear makeup?
I will just say that you are a woman, natural or fake if putting on some lip gloss, lashes, weaves, contacts, whatever creams your Twinkies do it. Ladies go natural for all different reasons. Some of us it's about embracing our hair and not conforming and chemically altering it to please other people. Message here,  do what makes you happy. If putting on makeup makes you happy, then have fun be creative and be merry.

When should my daughter start to wear makeup?

I have mom's who ask  can I do their 10 year old daughters makeup or they are buying hundreds  of dollars worth of makeup and not one bottle of skin care. As a makeup artist and a mother of 3 girls, I much rather we teach our girls first of all how to properly care for their skin. If your skin is healthy and clear then they wouldn't feel the need to mask it.
Makeup doesn't fix whats wrong on the inside. If your daughter has severe acne- makeup won't treat it, just merely covers it up. Teach our girls the importance of a good healthy diet,  exercise and proper skin care for healthy, clear skin. When the time allow for her to wear makeup, she'll know how to properly apply it. Anyone 15 years old should not have their makeup applied in the same fashion as a 30 year old woman. Nor should anyone girl under the age of 15 years old should not have any makeup applied to their gentle, young tender skin. Teaching our girls that if and when you wear makeup...that less is more. Allow them to be little girls before dressing and painting them as grown women before their time.

My 14 year old, and she is learning skin care and how to apply makeup without over doing it. Other than that, lip gloss and nail polish is her thing. I'm not telling anyone how to raise their kids, but just a few words of caution when it comes to makeup. Help her to love herself unconditionally, unselfishly, apologetically. Knowing that makeup is only an enhancer to enhance her natural god given beauty. Moms it's our jobs to teach and guide them.
